The Glorious Mysteries

The Glorious Mysteries celebrate Christ's triumph over death and the glory of heaven. From the Resurrection to Mary's coronation, these mysteries fill us with hope and joy in our eternal destiny.

The Resurrection

On the third day, Jesus rises from the dead in triumph over sin and death. The tomb is empty, and Christ appears to Mary Magdalene and the disciples, bringing them joy and hope.

Christ's resurrection is the foundation of our faith. Through Him, we too will rise to eternal life.

The Ascension

Forty days after His resurrection, Jesus ascends into heaven in the presence of His disciples. He promises to send the Holy Spirit and prepares a place for us in His Father's house.

Where Jesus has gone, we hope to follow. Our citizenship is in heaven, not on earth.

The Descent of the Holy Spirit

The Holy Spirit descends upon Mary and the apostles at Pentecost with tongues of fire. The Church is born, and the disciples are empowered to spread the Gospel to all nations.

The Assumption

At the end of her earthly life, Mary is assumed body and soul into heaven. She is crowned as Queen of Heaven and Earth, sharing fully in her Son's glory.

The Coronation of Mary

Mary is crowned as Queen of Heaven and Earth, Mother of the Church, and Advocate for all humanity. She continues to intercede for us before the throne of God.
