Poverty of Spirit

Reflection

In the poverty of the manger, we see God's preference for the humble and simple of heart.

Luke 2:22-38

Virtue

Obedience

Reflection

The Holy Family shows us faithful obedience to God's law and complete dedication to His will.

5

Finding in the Temple

After searching for three days, Mary and Joseph find the twelve-year-old Jesus in the Temple, discussing Scripture with the teachers, sitting in His Father's house.

Scripture

Luke 2:41-52

Virtue

Joy in Finding Jesus

Reflection

When we lose Jesus through sin, we must seek Him with the same diligence as Mary and Joseph.
